How to avoid toxins and live clean!

About Us

Becoming Aware of Toxic Exposures and Living Clean

I am an American who has had the honour and privilege of living in New Zealand for the last few years and this is where I hope to live out the rest of my life. In addition to the astounding beauty of New Zealand, I have found nearly everyone I have met and gotten to know to be extremely genuine, kind, helpful, and usually pretty happy. I’ve also seen a fairly widespread health consciousness and care for the environment here.

While I may be a bit sour about the U.S. regarding much of the political goings-on, the abysmal lack of gun control, the terrifying mass shootings, mass farming practices, and environmental pollutants, I am also quite upset to see many of their toxic products being imported into New Zealand.

I’ve made it my mission to not only expose the truth about toxic exposures that are packaged or marketed with glowing “benefits,” but to also offer easy and effective alternatives to replace these toxic products with non-toxic ones.

Soaps, shampoos and hair-care products, skin-care products, sunscreens, and many other personal care products on the market can be full of added toxic chemicals which in some cases can disrupt hormone production, damage organs, or worse.

Vaping and Smoking

The dangers of smoking are quite well known at this point, but many people have opted to switch to vaping. While you are missing the tar, vape liquids are loaded with toxic chemicals.

Dental Toxicity

Many dental products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, and even dental floss can contain harmful chemicals that may pose risks to your health. Meanwhile there are highly effective alternatives.

Chemically Treated Fabrics

Your skin readily absorbs chemicals from not only skincare products, but also from heavily chemically-treated clothing from dyes, fire retardents, and other chemicals.
